A legacy of precision since 1962
The history of VALFONTA cannot be understood without its roots. Our story began in 1962 with the patent for «Fonta Valves», laying the foundation for what is now a benchmark in the manufacture of equipment for fluid control. In 1991, the company was re-established in the city of Barcelona under the name Valfonta, consolidating a family tradition that has evolved in step with the technological demands of modern industry.
What began as a workshop specializing in pressure reduction has today become a highly specialized factory where we control the entire production process in situ.
Over these decades, we have expanded our engineering to offer complex solutions ranging from relief and overpressure valves (such as the S2, S3 or PRV series) to advanced pneumatic control systems (Model C1) and equipment based on fluid thermodynamics, such as our steam ejectors and injectors.
Today, Valfonta’s “Barcelona” seal travels throughout the continent, exporting its own technology that meets the most rigorous international standards, while maintaining the closeness and commitment of a company that values its family origins.

Our mission is to design, manufacture and supply equipment of maximum precision and reliability, with an absolute focus on the specialization of pressure reducing valves and relief valves. We understand that our role in the industrial chain is critical; therefore, we are dedicated to providing process plants with robust tools that guarantee operational stability and total protection of their most valuable assets.
We work to ensure that fluid management — whether steam, gases or liquids — is carried out under exceptional safety standards, eliminating any margin of error through direct action engineering that does not depend on auxiliary energies. Our mission transcends the sale of a product; we seek to be the technical support that ensures that each piping system functions efficiently, predictably and safely throughout its service life.

We want the Valfonta brand to be synonymous with a definitive solution for any pressure control challenge. We envision a future where our ability to customize — working with noble materials and special alloys such as Monel, Super Duplex or AISI 316L— allows us to be the first choice for engineers operating in the world’s most demanding and corrosive environments
