The Liquid Ejector 250 from Valfonta is a static pumping device specifically designed to lift and transfer liquids (whether cold, hot, fluid or thick) using the energy of a pressurized driving fluid.
Its simple and robust design, without moving parts, ensures safe operation with virtually no noise or vibration. Lacking impellers or mechanical seals, it is a maintenance-free solution, ideal for installations requiring reliability and durability in small spaces. It is capable of generating a vacuum to draw liquids up to a maximum height of 6 meters.
-
Flow Range: Lifting capacity from 1,500 l/h up to 10,000 l/h (depending on size).
-
Connections: Standard with BSP Gas Thread.
-
Driving Inlet: From 3/8" to 1 1/4".
-
Suction/Discharge: From 1/2" to 1 1/2".
-
-
Pressure and Temperature: PN16 design, suitable for working up to 16 barg and a maximum temperature of 200°C.
-
Materials: Available in two construction versions:
-
RG10 Bronze (for general and water applications).
-
AISI 316 Stainless Steel (for chemical, food or corrosive applications).
-
-
Suction Capacity: Maximum suction column height of 6 meters.
-
Driving Fluid: Can operate with dry steam (approx. 4 kg/cm²) or pressurized water (approx. 3 kg/cm²).
Model 250 operates on the Venturi principle, converting pressure energy into kinetic energy:
-
Injection: The driving fluid (water or steam) enters the nozzle at high speed.
-
Suction: This acceleration creates a depression (vacuum) in the suction chamber, drawing liquid from the lower tank through the vertical port.
-
Discharge: The driving fluid and the drawn liquid mix and are discharged through the diffuser, regaining pressure to be raised up to the discharge tank.
To ensure optimal lifting performance:
-
Position: Usually installed in a horizontal position (with respect to the drive-discharge axis), with the suction port oriented vertically downward.
-
Connections:
-
Driving (A): Horizontal inlet connection (smallest diameter).
-
Suction (B): Lower vertical connection (largest diameter).
-
Discharge: Horizontal outlet connection.
-
-
Regulation: It is recommended to install a shut-off valve on the driving fluid line to control the start and stop of the ejector.
-
Piping: Ensure that the suction height does not exceed 6 meters to avoid cavitation or loss of priming.
