- Size Range: Available in sizes from DN15 up to DN100
- Maximum Inlet Pressure: Supports up to 40 barg in small sizes (DN15-DN50) and up to 25 barg in larger sizes (DN65-DN100).
- Regulation Range: Can adjust pressures from 0.02 barg up to 10 barg by exchanging different actuators and springs.
- Body Materials: Construction available in three standard materials depending on pressure and fluid:
- Ductile Iron (GGG40.3) for PN25.
- Carbon Steel (WCB) for PN40.
- Stainless Steel (CF3M) for PN40, ideal for corrosive environments or sanitary applications.
- Internals: The seat, plug, and internal parts are made of Stainless Steel AISI 316L.
- Connections: EN1092 flanges (PN16-PN40), ANSI (150/300 lbs) and threaded ends BSP or NPT (up to 2").
- Temperature Limits:
- NBR: -20°C to 80°C.
- EPDM: -40°C to 125°C.
- PTFE + GR: -40°C to 180°C (condensation tank required).
- Automatic closing: When fluid enters, the upstream pressure pushes the internal assembly (shaft-piston-plunger), exerting a force that tends to close the valve.
- Regulation: By compressing the upper spring with the adjustment screw, the membrane and plug are pushed, opening the fluid passage.
- Modulation: The valve continuously seeks the balance between the spring force (opening) and the outlet pressure on the membrane (closing), keeping the set value stable.
To ensure performance and warranty, follow these guidelines:
-
Installation Position: Must be installed exclusively in horizontal piping, respecting the flow direction indicated by the arrow.
-
Actuator Orientation:
-
Vertically Upwards (Standard): Mandatory for any fluid at T > 80°C.
-
Downwards: Allowed only for gases and liquids at T < 80°C.
-
-
Filtration: It is almost essential to install a strainer filter upstream to protect the seat from impurities.
-
Control Piping:
-
Standard: Supplied with internal pressure tap, no need for external pipes.
-
For Steam: Connect a 10x1 mm tube externally to the outlet piping, at a minimum distance of 1 meter.
-
-
Condensation Tank (Barrel):
-
Mandatory for steam or liquids at T > 125°C.
-
Must be installed at the highest point and filled with water to overflow before start-up to protect the membrane.
-
-
Adjustment: Turn the screw clockwise to increase the pressure (+) and counterclockwise to decrease it (-).
