History

1. 1962The story begins with the patent for the “Fonta Valves,” the origin of the company’s specialization in pressure reduction.
2. 1991The company is refounded in Barcelona under the name Valfonta and keeps its family character.
3. 2012The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001.
4. 2014Production of pressure equipment is certified to Module D1 of the Pressure Equipment Directive.
5. TodayWhat began as a specialized workshop is now a factory that controls the entire production process on site and exports throughout Europe.

What we do

Our specialty is pressure reducing valves and pressure relief and excess pressure valves, direct-acting and with no auxiliary power. Over the years we have expanded the range with the C1 pneumatic control valve and steam jet equipment, and we adapt or design custom valves when the application calls for it.

In-house manufacturing in Badalona

Manufacturing at our own facility lets us ensure that every component meets exact tolerances and specifications. Before delivery, every valve is bench-tested under service conditions.

Every valve carries an individual serial number on its nameplate. With it, we can supply exact spare parts and material certificates throughout its service life. In addition to AISI 316L stainless steel, we work with special alloys such as super duplex and Monel for corrosive environments.
