COOKIE POLICY
This policy explains which cookies the valfonta.com website uses, what they are for and how you can accept them, reject them or change your choice at any time.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They are used, for example, to remember the language you are browsing in or the products you have added to your cart. In this policy we also use the word «cookies» for similar technologies that store or read information on your device.
WHO USES THEM?
Technical and marketing cookies are first-party cookies: they are set by VAL FONTA, S.L., the owner of the website (its details are on this same page), and the information they contain is not transferred to or shared with anyone. The exception is the technical cookies of Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited), the shop's payment provider, which sets them to prevent payment fraud and processes this data under its privacy policy.
Analytics cookies, only if you accept them, are set by Google (Google Ireland Limited) with Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, so that Valfonta knows how the website is used. Google processes this data under its privacy policy, including outside the European Union with the safeguards it requires.
The website does not use advertising or social media cookies.
WHICH COOKIES DO WE USE?
Technical cookies (always active). They are needed for the website to work, so they do not require your consent (article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI-CE):
| Cookie | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
wp-wpml_current_language | Remember the language you are browsing in. | 24 hours |
vf_consent | Store your decision about cookies: what you accepted and when. | 1 year |
woocommerce_cart_hashwoocommerce_items_in_cart | Know whether there are products in the cart and whether it has changed. | Session |
wp_woocommerce_session_* | Keep your cart and your shop session. | 2 days |
wordpress_logged_in_*wordpress_sec_*wordpress_test_cookie | Only if you log in to your customer account: keep your session open securely. | Session (14 days if you tick «Remember me») |
__stripe_mid__stripe_sid | Only on the checkout page: set by Stripe, our payment provider, to detect and prevent card payment fraud. | 1 year / 30 minutes |
m (m.stripe.com domain) | Set by Stripe on the same page, also to prevent payment fraud. | 400 days |
Analytics cookies (only if you accept them). Google Analytics counts visits and how the website is used (pages viewed, time, device type), in aggregate, to improve it. If you do not accept them, they are not set: the Google tag works in consent mode and only sends cookieless pings without identifiers.
| Cookie | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Anonymously tell visitors apart to count visits (Google Analytics). | 400 days |
_ga_X971HY8RTQ | Keep the state of the visit in Google Analytics. | 400 days |
Marketing cookies (only if you accept them). They are set by the online shop (WooCommerce) to know which channel brought you to the website (a search engine, another website, an email or a campaign) and to attribute any order you place to that channel. This information is stored with the order, on our server, and is not sent to anyone. If you do not accept them, they are not set and the website works just the same:
| Cookie | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sbjs_firstsbjs_first_add | Channel of your first visit (search engine, website, email or campaign) and when you arrived. | Session |
sbjs_currentsbjs_current_add | Channel of the current visit and when it started. | Session |
sbjs_session | Number of pages viewed in the current visit. | 30 minutes |
sbjs_udata | Number of visits and type of browser. | Session |
sbjs_migrations | Internal control of the version of these cookies. | Session |
«Session» means that the cookie is deleted when you close your browser.
HOW CAN YOU ACCEPT, REJECT OR CHANGE YOUR CHOICE?
The first time you visit the website we show you a notice with three options: accept all, reject all or configure. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and until you choose, no analytics or marketing cookie is set.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time from Cookie settings, which you will also find in the footer of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the marketing cookies from your browser.
We keep your choice for one year. After that time, or if we change the cookies we use, we will ask you again.
HOW CAN YOU BLOCK OR DELETE THEM IN YOUR BROWSER?
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that if you block technical cookies, the shop cart and the language switcher may stop working. These are the instructions for the most common browsers:
